Norman E.'s Story
After I graduated from Fairview, I went to Ohio State where I had lots of majors. About a month before graduation I went to a counselor, showed her my transcript and asked what major looks like this. She said Social Science, so that was my major.
I then went to Ohio University and got a Masters in economics. Then I went to the University of Minnesota where I didn't quite get a Ph.D.(I am an ABD) in economics. I worked for the state of Minnesota and the Pillsbury Corporation as an economic analyst. Then I (yes its disgusting) went back to the UofM and became a school psychologist (following in the footsteps of my wife). I have a PhD in educational psychology. I retired on 6/10/09.

orchestra (it has some professionals in it). My daughter plays violin in that orchestra now. Starting in 2003 I discovered the notation program Finale and have been composing music with it. I have been improvising on the piano since I was 9. I doubt if I'll ever get anyone to play my music. I like it but its anachronistic and probably sucks. Nevertheless, my goal (perhaps to the discomfiture of any who dares to listen)is to post it on the internet at some future date when I have a collection of pieces with which I am satisfied. I have a coach and I'm currently auditing a course in orchestration at the UofM.
I am a hell of a dishwasher. My wife reads me the classics while I do the dishes. We have probably already read the 40 books, assigned by an English teacher at Fairview to be read in one semester. I dropped that course. I wonder if she would give me a grade retroactively.
